With over 15 years of experience in the technology industry as a software developer, network administrator, and journalist, Fahmida Y. Rashid is currently the managing editor for Decipher, a digital magazine focused on information security. When she isn't busy removing fear out of security news coverage, she looks at ways security intersects with other domains. While security is an integral part of technology, it also has a place outside of the tech arena. She has previously written for SecurityWeek, Dark Reading, PCMag, eWeek, and Toms Guide. She is a graduate of Barnard College and the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University.
