Sean Corkum is a Sr. Software Engineer who is passionate about bleeding edge tech, blazing fast automated pipelines, and cloud-native projects. His experiences in the CICD space cover a wide range of technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, Terraform, and other nodejs and golang apps. In his time at Northwestern Mutual, he has been integral in evolving the organization's processes, including moving GitLab to Kubernetes in 2016 and architecting a resilient SCM and build-tools environment. Before joining Northwestern Mutual, he took part in kohls.com's replatforming efforts, and developed an Elasticsearch and Kibana log repository for issue resolution and monitoring/alerting while at Fidelity Information Services. When not at his desk, Sean enjoys volunteering and spending time in the clouds – digital and via airplanes!
