Long-time government FFRDC employee and self-proclaimed Faux-Fed, Solomon Rubin has worked at several premier research facilities, including MIT Lincoln Laboratory and the MITRE corporation over the last seven years. Over the course of his career, he has worked on a variety of cyber defense projects which have enabled advanced asteroid detection, enhanced defense against cybercriminals, and more. He has promoted the use of Open Source and InnerSource within both MITRE and United States government projects. This activism has helped streamline the process of using and contributing to open source within these organizations.
